Dick Bax's 15mm Augustan Romans

My army is roughly 1200 points in VB. Originally painted and based for the Newbury Fast Play rules it is now completely rebased for VB.

 

Most of the figures are Chariot (Magister Militum now) with some extra units from Essex and Freikorps 15.

 

The core of the army consists of 8 bases of legionairs ~1.5 legion. The figures are mostly late Caesarian in equipment. Support is in the form of some artillery, auxillia cavalry and infantry. Besides that there is extra support in the form of some gauls, germans, numidians and thracians.

Currently the army is very short on generals and leaders. Quite a few of which are waiting in the "to be painted" box.  :-(
